SANITARY FITTING
Sanitary fittings are usually made from stainless steel because this makes them easily autoclavable and capable of withstanding extreme temperatures. Stainless steel also has antimicrobial qualities and resist corrosion. These fittings can be cleaned manually after disassembling the connection or through the use of clean-in-place protocols, depending on the fittings’ construction.
